Let me introduce myself, my name is Lois Ann Cianci and I am an experienced pediatric nurse of over 30 years.  Tender Tot's Daycare has been providing a safe, clean, happy and healthy environment for all children since 1989.  Every child is given individual attention while having their needs met each and every day.  Children learn how to play with others, respect each other and share.

Infants are provided with many manipulative and stimulating toys.  Music is played at periods during the day and all the children participate in singing and dancing to the songs.  Infants are the "bosses" of all daycare centers as they need the most care and attention. Diaper changes are frequent and bottles and feedings are on an "on demand" basis.

The older children benefit from continuity of care.  Knowing when things are going to happen helps develop a sense if security in all children. They will have various activities during the day which include story time, music, exercises, learning the alphabet, colors, counting, outside play (weather permitting) and supervised free play.  They are encouraged to express themselves through their own creativity and if they choose not to participate in an activity, they are allowed to play in another area.
Potty training is introduced when each child is ready.  Children mature at different rates and starting to potty train before a child is ready will only instill a feeling of failure.  Potty training is achieved easier when the parents and I coordinate our efforts.

All children are taught good manners i.e. please, thank you, table manners, animal kindness, courtesy of others, etc.
